Dr. Jimoh is a consummate scholar, exemplary administrator, and visionary leader whose professional journey reflects resilience, intellectual depth, and passion for advancing Office and Information Management as a globally relevant discipline. Born on April 22, 1974, his life demonstrates perseverance and excellence, guided by the values of hard work, discipline, and service that have shaped his distinguished career in education, administration, and community development. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Office and Information Management from Lead City University, Ibadan, in 2023, and also holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration (Office and Information Management), a Master’s Degree in Personnel Psychology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies (Distinction) from The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.
Dr. Jimoh began his career at Skye Bank Plc in 2005 and joined The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, in 2007 as a Confidential Secretary, rising steadily to become a Senior Lecturer and currently the Head of Department of Office Technology and Management. His leadership roles include serving as Deputy Director of the Entrepreneurship Development and Skill Acquisition Centre and Managing Editor of the School of Communication and Information Technology Journal, while also contributing to various institutional development in areas of academic quality, digital transformation, human capital development, and research and development.
A prolific researcher and author, he has presented over thirty academic papers and published more than thirty journal articles and textbooks in areas including Office Management, Information and Communication Technology, Human Relations, and Organisational Behaviour. His excellence has earned him numerous awards, including The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro 2nd Runner-Up Best Academic Staff Award (2024), South-West Lecturer of the Year (2024), and commendations from the Governing Council for academic distinction and service. Beyond academia, Dr. Jimoh is a mentor, community leader, and advocate for youth development and education, widely respected for his humility, integrity, and ethical leadership, and he continues to inspire many.
